Subterranean Jungle is an album by punk band the Ramones. It was released May of 1983[1] (see 1983 in music) and peaked at position eighty-three on the Billboard album music chart.[2] It was re-released in 2003 on CD.

"Time Bomb" featured Dee Dee's first lead vocal on a Ramones album.

Marky Ramone was kicked out of the band during the production of the album. He is lurking almost invisibly behind the window on the front cover.

The song "Outsider" was covered by latter day punk band Green Day on We're a Happy Family - A Tribute to the Ramones and also released on their album Shenanigans. "Psycho Therapy" was recorded by Skid Row as part of their album, B-Side Ourselves. Each of the five members of the band chose a song to cover; Bassist Rachel Bolan, a Ramones fan, chose "Psycho Therapy" and sings lead vocals on it. He has also sung lead on live performances of this and other Ramones songs.
