Subject side parameter

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Subject side parameter, sometimes referred to as the Specifier head parameter is a proposed parameter that provides a choice between:

  • Subjects come before heads (subject first) and
  • Subjects come after heads (subject last).

English is an example of a subject first language, whereas Malagasy is an example of subject last.
