Sub frame

A sub frame is a partial section of a vehicle chassis, for the front suspension. The sub frame saw regular production in the 60's and 70's General Motors X and F cars. It contains the upper and lower control arms, the engine K member, and the transmission crossmember. And bolts to the middle of the car, with typical chassis studs on each side.
