す, in hiragana, or ス in katakana (IPA [sɯ]), is one of the Japanese kana, which each represent one mora. The shapes of these kana come from 寸 and 須, respectively.
Also note that, as in the other -u kana, the 'u' sound is very subtle; unless well-articulated, this kana sounds fairly close to 's' alone.
