Style Statement
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
A Style Statement, as created by Carrie McCarthy & Danielle LaPorte is a two-word description that describes the way an individual expresses their essence in all areas of their life. According to the “Style Statement Principal,” in keeping with Pareto’s Law, the first word of one’s Style Statement represents their inner and aesthetic foundation – their 80%. The second word describes their creative edge -- the 20% of their whole self. Often referred to as one’s “life trademark,” people use their Style Statement as a guide to making decisions for everything from fashion and home design, to relationships and career strategies.
McCarthy, a retired Interior Design and athlete; and LaPorte, a former think tank and communications executive are based in Vancouver BC.
