This template is an infobox for use by Student Media Societies.

[edit] Usage

Suggested formatting:

This table explains the parameters that this template uses. All parameters are optional unless otherwise indicated.

Parameter	Contents
name	The society name (will be used as the heading) Required
logofile	The image name (does not require the "[[image:" tag)
logoalt	The alternative text for the image
logosize	if the image will cause the infobox to stretch put 250px as this parameter
slogan	The media society's slogan
type	The media type (TV, radio, newspaper etc.) Required
launch	The date the media society launched Required
closed date	The date the media society closed
former names	Any former name(s) of the media society (include dates if possible)
web	A link to the society's website
media associations	Names of (and links to) any media associations the society is a member of
university	The name of (and a link to) the society's university Required
other media	Names of (and links to) any other media socities from the same university
distribution 1	Method of media distribution (for example: TV - campus TVs, online ; Radio - wavelength, online ; Newspaper - Student's Union, campus shop) Required
dist details 1	Details of media distribution (for example: TV - live, pre-recorded, time of day ; Radio - area of coverage, time of day ; Newspaper - time available) Required
distribution 2 ... 5	2nd - 5th method of distribution
dist details 2 ... 5	2nd - 5th details of distribution
