Sturminster Marshall F.C.
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Sturminster Marshall F.C. is an association football club based in Sturminster Marshall, near Blandford Forum, Dorset, England. In the 2006/07 season, they are members of the Dorset Premier Football League.
Their ground (and in particular the mobile wooden dugouts which are hauled into place for each game by a tractor) was featured in David Bauckham's book Dugouts. Upon winning the Dorset Senior League title in 2006 they were promoted to the Dorset Premier League and in order to comply with ground requirements had two mobile wooden stands built, which along with the famous dugouts are now towed out by tractor on a match-by-match basis.
