Stuffed peppers
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Stuffed peppers are an American food consisting of cooked green bell peppers filled with meat, typically beef, along with breadcrumbs, egg, herbs or spices, especially paprika and parsley, and cheese. Recipes vary, but often includes the following: first removing the seeds, boiling the peppers, stuffing them, covering with the cheese, and baking the combined foodstuff. A sauce may be served with them, most commonly a tomato sauce, but this, too, varies greatly.
