[edit] Biography
From 2001 to 2005 he was the Head of Design at Pringle of Scotland. He is widely attributed with revitalising the company, which had for years been associated purely with golf-wear. Part of his strategy to revitalise the brand was to reintroduce the twin set and Argyle motifs synonymous with the company's boom years. He left the company in 2005 and joined luxury tie manufacturer Holliday & Brown, owned by Mantero.
Stockdale also designed Westlife's (now signature) matching suits.
