Stuart Nelson (born September 17, 1981 in Stroud, Gloucestershire), is a professional football goalkeeper currently playing for Brentford. He was signed from then Unibond Premier League side Hucknall Town in February 2004 for a fee of £10,000. The former Cirencester Town goalkeeper completed his first full season in 2004/2005, which included 21 clean sheets.
Nelson has been appointed club captain for the 2006/7 season. However, an injury picked up in October means that he was unable to play until 2007. [1]
