Stu Hirst is a UK based house and techno dj. He is also known by his guises of Ourhouse, Rockstaar and Davidson & Hirst, having released on some of the biggest and most important electronic labels since 2004.

Hirst has established himself as one of the bright spark talents in electronic music having released super tunes on labels such as Harlem, Plastic Fantastic, VIVA, Limbo, Subversive, and Distinctive. He’s remixed tunes for a variety of imprints, including Deeper Substance, Red, Adjust, and more. This is all alongside running his Strawberry Blonde label, which features his own material as well as work from establish artists like Murray Richardson, Tim Andresen, Shafunkers & Disciples Of Sound. Hailed by Steve Lawler as a "fantastic songwriter", 2007 will see Stu release on heavyweight labels Global Underground, Toolroom and Baroque, in addition to Digital Plastic. DJ wise, Stu is no stranger to success, having won DJ Magazine's Mix Competition in 2003 and played at some of the finest clubs in Europe, including no less than three Space Closing Parties in Ibiza, Global & Galaxy in Lithuania, Nautilus in Latvia, La Mania in Romania, and Ministry Of Sound, Egg, The Cross, The Arches and many more in the UK. Stu has a monthly show on leading electronic internet radio station Proton and also a monthly podcast, which has over 1400 subscribers and grows daily.
