[edit] Help

Guys, i need help with finding more scholarly references to this article that reflects a wider array of views. Please contribute in this regard. --Striver 20:50, 16 December 2006 (UTC)

Currently this article seems to be only a collection of quotes from this persons and that person. This needs to be written in proper paragraph form and we don't need to quote every scholar. We can simply state what the scholar has said (paraphrase it).Bless sins 02:24, 17 December 2006 (UTC)
I have experienced that when i comes to highly emotional topics like this one, things are less "bumpy" if more quotes are used. But there is always room for improvement. --Striver 06:01, 17 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Should this article exist or not?

Beit OR and Striver are currently engaged in what seems to be an edit war on whether this article should exist or not. Please lets discuss here intstead of edit-warring.Bless sins 17:15, 17 December 2006 (UTC)

I am open to dialog, in fact, i invite him. Why are you redirecting an article on a very notable siege?`--Striver 17:19, 17 December 2006 (UTC)
This article is a thinly-veiled POV fork regurgitating a large volume of cherry-picked quotations to "prove" that the Banu Qurayza got what was coming to them. It covers material which is gone over in detail in the main Banu Qurayza article (albeit in a manner that is itself POV and biased in favor of those who wiped out this tribe. I am the first one to admit that the article needs work, right now i am reading on William Muir, since i heard that he condemned the event. The article looks like this since it was in the start very hostile to the Muslim view, so i searched and added more friendly views. Maybe i found to many. Then the other guys went and found even more Muslim-hostile quotes. It's all fine as soon as we merge both bits, then all sides will be better represented. So, yes, i agree that we have editorial issues, and i am helping to solve them, as i said, i am searching for Muslim-hostile quotes in from William Muir right now. With that said, i still strongly argue that a event this notable needs it's own article, specially when all views have been merged, otherwise it would totally overwhelm the tribe article. --Striver 00:09, 18 December 2006 (UTC)
Briangotts, what is your view now that i have added more material? --Striver 02:19, 18 December 2006 (UTC)
