I suggest that this be combined with Structural analysis. "Stress analysis" is really an old-fasioned way of looking at structural analysis, and should be a redirect to the current version of "Structural analysis", which already makes mention of the pertinent points (as well as the term) of this article.

So then, by your reasoning, all pipe stress analysis is "structural" analysis......eeennnnnnhhhh (buzzer sounds) You would be wrong, beam breath.
