[edit] Abrupt ending

This article is currently very lacking. What happened to the negro afterwards, in the retrial? Did they actually hang him? The end of the story is missing,. Reading what info is on the web, it seems he was not merely accused of murder, but he actually committed the hatchet murder of his wife in plain view of several eye witnesses. Thus no trial was warranted in the first place, since his crime was obvious and thus eligible for lynching.

Most people of the world resent the anglo-saxon love of legalism, instread of seeking truth. We are interested in the punishment of the criminals without excuses, raher than nitpicking on technicalities and OJs getting away. So the only thing I want to know from wikipedia if that negro eventually hang. 195.70.32.136 10:46, 31 July 2006 (UTC)
