Struna-Palooza is a popular event held in central West Sand Lake, New York about 4 times a year. Although the exact location and host is relatively secret to non-locals, all are welcome. It is held at a common hang out of local skate team JNE, as well as other local skaters.

It is a place where local bands from Averill Park, Poestenkill, Albany, and West Sand Lake come to play for a small group of local kids. This is a popular place because it is a drug free zone for those who are interested, and those who do want to do drugs to raise consciousness will go outside to somewhere nearby. Although it is not a national event, Struna-Palooza is important to locals because it allows them to go see shows without having to go into Albany, or somewhere farther.
