Striplin Gym
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Striplin Gym was a 2,500 seat multi-purpose arena in Nashville, Tennessee. It opened in 1964. It was home to the Belmont University Bruins basketball team. Striplin Gym was demolished in 2001 to make room for its replacement, the Curb Event Center, which opened in 2003. In the time between, Belmont hosted its basketball games at various gymnasiums and arenas around Nashville, but most often at Nashville Municipal Auditorium.
