Streetz Poet

Norman Christopher Bright (born October 19, 1981), better known as Streetz Poet [1], is a hip hop MC and self described revolutionary. Most of his lyrics focus on socio-political issues and his own life. The subjects in his songs are largely a mixture of political commentary on issues such as poverty and racism, and the circumstances in his life which led him to hold the ideals that he does.

Although he has never been offered a deal plans are in the works to finish his album titled "Original Art" and sell it himself with help from his producer Elton "Chief" Locklear[2]. Streetz Poet has also voiced a desire to keep control over his production, and has made statements in his music that he is very aware that it is corporations that profit the most from albums not the artist or his producers, although this is common knowledge now.

Original Art will be out this year under Jumpsquad Entertainment which is run by Giles "KB" Travis [3]and executive produced by Elton "Chief" Locklear. It will feature local artists such as Danzel "Zel" Manning, Steve "L.O.D." Morton, Mic 3Hree [4] and Alex "DJ Alow" Rosario[5].
