Street jumping
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
It's called Street Jumping--- best described as a unique mix of Tricking and Urban Exploration. It is a combination of martial arts, climbing, and gymnastics. Believed to have it's origins in broken down areas in Russia and other nations that were once a part of the U.S.S.R., Street Jumping has no official rules or governing bodies.
A Street Jumper, or Street Jumpers, are usually self taught and often come from various martial arts and gymnastics backgrounds. In addition to this, they will usually learn from friends who have more experience and have been training longer.
Although Street Jumping is non-contact, which is unusual for something that relies heavily on martial arts, it is not unheard of for Street Jumpers to have to defend themselves, as the areas that they go to are usually less desirable then other places in the city.
