From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
A street drug is a drug taken for non-medical reasons, usually for an exhilarating feeling or mind-altering effects. In most cases, street drugs are illegal. This term comes from the fact that these types of substances are normally sold on the street by drug dealers.
Examples of street drugs include marijuana, cocaine, heroin, MDMA, LSD, PCP and methamphetamine.
