Street Hop is Royce Da 5'9"'s highly anticipated release to follow 2005's Independent's Day;.
The album will be executive produced by DJ Premier, and will feature Premier doing roughly half the production on the album, as well as handpicking the rest of the beats. Other currently confirmed producers are Nottz, Carlos "6 July" Broady and Bink!. The first single, the DJ Premier-produced "Ding!", was leaked to the internet in 2006 and received positive response from fans. While the album will probably be released on Royce's own M.I.C. Records, as was his last record, there is a possibility that it will also be a joint venture with Nas' new label The Jones Experience, since both rappers have expressed an interest in Royce's making a deal[1].
