Strangford is a constituency in the Northern Ireland Assembly.
The seat was first used for a Northern Ireland-only election for the Northern Ireland Forum in 1996. Since 1998, it has elected members to the current Assembly.
For Assembly elections prior to 1996, the constituency was largely part of the North Down constituency with smaller sections being added from Belfast East constituency and Belfast South constituency. Since 1997, it has shared boundaries with the Strangford UK Parliament constituency.

- Cedric Wilson UK Unionist Party
- Cedric Wilson resigned from the UK Unionist Party and, together with other UKUP Assembly Members, formed the Northern Ireland Unionist Party on January 5, 1999
- Thomas Benson died on December 24, 2000 and was succeeded by Thomas Hamilton, also Ulster Unionist Party.
