Talk:Stonewall Attack

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

i think that this artical would benefit greatly by running down an example opening, with the black moves included, and a breif analysis thereof. this would give people a better understanding of how black would react to the stonewall attack (perhaps both an amature and a master), and how white can turn the "well timed bishop sacrifice on h7" into real gains. --69.136.244.138 04:34, 2 August 2005 (UTC)

  • Much of this article was based on a very old Chess Life article from 1980 or 1981. I think it was written by Larry D Evans and it was titled "Stonewalling"... it had a sample game there, I will need some time to find it though... I also looked at a Mednis article about this opening in a 1995 issue of Chess Life. Sjakkalle (Check!) 11:49, 4 August 2005 (UTC)
