[edit] Do complete bibliographies even belong in the WP?
Clearly, if anyone cares to prepare such a document, it can be useful to others. However, it is not clear to me that we want to set a precedent for trying to index every paper ever written on any topic (or all topics) in the Wikipedia, since this is [[WP:WIN|not a index].
It seems that someone who published papers on this topic added a very extensive bibliography (not, however, by any means complete). Since this is an encyclopedia, not Reviews of Modern Physics, this is usually not appropriate. Rather, researchers should pursue one of the following courses of action:
- write a review paper, publish it, place it on the arXiv, and then cite this review paper using the appropriate citation template (adding a link to its arXiv abstract page)
- prepare a bibliography, put it on your academic website, and then add a link to this on-line bibliography.

[edit] Clean up
Someone should convert the entries to use citation templates, and put in approximate chronological order. Whereever possible, the links should be to arxiv.org rather than to personal websites, calphysics.org, journal websites (which often require an account in order to access a printed paper), etc. TIA ---CH 17:51, 4 June 2006 (UTC)
