Stotts City is a city in Lawrence County, Missouri, United States. The population was 250 at the 2000 census.

Stotts City is located at 37°6′11″N, 93°56′48″W (37.102983, -93.946662)GR1.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 1.3 km² (0.5 mi²), all land.

As of the censusGR2 of 2000, there were 250 people, 98 households, and 63 families residing in the city. The population density was 189.3/km² (486.2/mi²). There were 117 housing units at an average density of 88.6/km² (227.5/mi²). The racial makeup of the city was 87.60% White, 1.20% African American, 4.00% Native American, 3.60% from other races, and 3.60% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 9.20% of the population.

There were 98 households out of which 30.6% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 49.0% were married couples living together, 11.2% had a female householder with no husband present, and 34.7% were non-families. 30.6% of all households were made up of individuals and 11.2% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.55 and the average family size was 3.11.

In the city the population was spread out with 26.8% under the age of 18, 9.2% from 18 to 24, 28.8% from 25 to 44, 19.6% from 45 to 64, and 15.6% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 35 years. For every 100 females there were 110.1 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 101.1 males.

The median income for a household in the city was $18,958, and the median income for a family was $28,125. Males had a median income of $17,031 versus $16,250 for females. The per capita income for the city was $8,942. About 26.2% of families and 24.6% of the population were below the poverty line, including 24.1% of those under the age of eighteen and 36.6% of those sixty five or over.
