Storuman Municipality is a Swedish municipality in Västerbotten County, in northern Sweden. It has Sweden's tenth largest area (7485.2 km²), but is sparsely populated with a population density of 1 inhabitants per km².
The municipal seat is in the town Storuman with 2,400 inhabitants. Other towns are Stensele, 500 inhabitants, Gunnarn, 200 inhabitants, and Tärnaby, 500 inhabitants. Tärnaby has fostered the internationally famous skiiers Ingemar Stenmark, Stig Strand and Anja Pärson.
