"Stop the Dams" is a song by virtual band Gorillaz, featuring Ghostigital and The Reyjavik West End Brass Band. It was released as a B-side for the Gorillaz fourth single from their second album Demon Days, "Kids With Guns" / "El Mañana". The song is a protest song against the building of dams in certain areas of Iceland which could flood and pollute the wilderness there. According to the single booklet, more information about this occurrence can be found at this website, link.
The song is also a rework of the song "Aluminium" performed by Damon Albarn and Ghostigital live at the "Stop the Dams" concert in January, 2006 in Ireland. A video of the performance can be found here.
