Stonegate railway station

Stonegate railway station is on the Hastings Line in East Sussex in England. Train services are provided by Southeastern.
The typical off-peak service is one train per hour to London Charing Cross via Tonbridge and Sevenoaks, and one train per hour to Hastings.
There are no bus connections onward from this station, but there is good walking in the countryside around.

The station was opened as Witherenden (the name of a nearby hamlet), but was renamed almost immediately to Ticehurst Road. It became Stonegate (after a village about 1 mile away) in 1946.
