Stone Street

Stone Street, Stonegate, Stane Street or Stanegate are a number of Saxon names for various Roman roads in Britain. Stone, or its old spelling stane, was commonly used to differentiate paved Roman roads from muddy native trackways. These include:

- Stone Street is also the name of a street and historic district in New York City's Financial District.
