Stomp Box

A stomp box is a small wooden box placed under the foot, and stamped on rhythmically to create a thunking percussive sound. usually a microphone is placed inside to amplify the sound. The sound of the box is similar to a bass drum, and is used for practicality. Xavier Rudd uses a stomp box.
