[edit] Synopsis

Spoiler warning: Plot and/or ending details follow.

The fair is in town! There are going to be ferris wheels, cotton candy, The World's Shortest Giant, and the car from Smokey and the Bandit, but before they can go, Earl has to cross an item off his list. Earl secretly fixed a ton of golf games for a golfer when he finds out that the golfer celebrates by buying everyone at the bar a free beer. When Randy slips and tell others about the scam, Earl and Randy have to stop. When they find the golfer to give him the beer they scammed him out of, they find that because the golfer thought he was so good, he was going to go pro and neglected his life for golf and lost his job, and is now living in his car. Since the golfer’s life has tanked, and it is Earl’s fault, Earl has a talk with the golfer’s old boss and manages to get him his old job back. After telling the golfer the good news, he finds out that the golfer also lost his girlfriend. They go to her house and talk her into letting him move back in. Then they find out that the golfers dog was put up for adoption, Earl vows to get everything straight, and tells Randy if he would help him a little, then they could get to the fair. Randy leaves with Earl's keys and disappears. They reunite to find Randy has taken it upon him self to find the golfers dog. Earl adds to his list, "Neglecting Randy" and vows never to cross it off. They miss the fair, and in order to make it up to Randy, Earl rents the Bandit's car and they drive off into the sunset.
