Image talk:Stoned person.jpg

Don't see how this picture helps illustrate anything. Suggest it be removed. Anagrammarian 02:42, 31 March 2007 (UTC)

I guess the admins would rather be pedantic than have a single shred of humor. So here's my opinion: I think the image helps illustrate the drugs's affects on its user's appearance. T8ik5 16:02, 31 March 2007 (UTC)

No reason why it shouldn't be there. The image shows someone on drugs, and if they gave consent for it to be on Wikipedia, then it should stay. If not, that's another matter altogether. Korinkami 22:59, 31 March 2007 (UTC)

I don't see the point of this picture. You say it helps illustrate the drug's effects on the user appearance, but to do that, we would need an image of the person when not stoned. Maybe he always looks like this. Personally, I can't see any particular tell-tales sign that this guy is stoned, it could be the picture of anybody during a party. And any particular sign could be attributed to alcohol. What is the reader supposed to learn from this? Should we put on page Sports_car the picture of a guy standing next to a Porsche, with the caption "Sports car driver I met by chance" ? I'm also rather suspicious of the motives of adding this image (considering how little it contributes). It's probably a joke, with or without the knowledge of that guy. Remove it. I concur with Ratfox. 70.61.84.130 19:25, 1 April 2007 (UTC)

"You say it helps illustrate the drug's effects on the user appearance, but to do that, we would need an image of the person when not stoned. Maybe he always looks like this." That would be impossible, he's always stoned.

I guess that makes it clear. Proposed it for deletion. Ratfox 15:10, 4 April 2007 (UTC)
