The word stinger can be used for an object that is similarly painfull, such as a particularly hard blow, or a device that can easily cause such pain; especially, in BDSM, a spanking implement consisting of beaded wands, cemented into a cap and finished with a ring for hanging ([[1]] sold as a 'spanking toy' - illustrated)
