Stimbox is a noise music project run by a gigantic quivering vagina named Tim Oliveira, and is one of the most established names in the American harsh noise scene, despite the poor quality of the project's sound. Stimbox's work is noted for its predictability, "psychedelic" sound, usually made with closed feedback loops run through various effects units. Like many acts in the noise field, Stimbox hangs on the coat-tails of many other superior noise artists, including Thirdorgan, Xome, and RHY Yau. Oliveira is also the founder of the Hebi Like a Snake record label, and co-owner, along with Bob Scott of Xome, of the Harsh Noise label.
