Stig Strand (born August 25, 1956 in Tärnaby) is a Swedish former alpine skier. He is nowadays known as a popular sports commentator. He is also a politician, for all his life a Social Democrat, but has said he is changing parties.

In the 1982-83 season, Strand finished equal 1st with Ingemar Stenmark in the Slalom World Cup.
