Stienski [1]

Stienski is the performing name of American breakcore musician, performing artist, producer and emcee Jason McFatridge. Hailing from Denver, Colorado He has been active under this name since 1999, before that he played bass-guitar in a stoner-metal-band Mad Apple under the moniker "Einstien".

His style is sometimes credited as 'Dancehall Mashup' or 'Dubcore', blending Reggae and Ragga with Breakcore, though he also incorporates many other styles. Stienski started playing double bass in his 4th grade orchestra. He learned many instruments as a youth including guitar, baritone, piano, didjeridu, Bongos and many others. Finding his way into the music scene and eventually the underground rave scene. He was inducted into Urban Aboriginee in 1999 and has been producing and hosting events since 2000 with Illacrew productions.

Stienski is hands down an innovator of the new style of Emcee. He has single handedly transformed the growing drum n bass scene into an organic ragga jungle community. After years of vigorous clubnights and residencies he has gained respect from many peers in the drum n bass scene from the US and abroad. A member of many crews and affiliations he has taken the denver scene by storm. Urban Aboriginee, illacrew productions, Mos Hi records, Dub Reckaz and many other mentionable names have added mc stienski to the line up, for his mic skills and his production work.
