Stictocarbo

The genus Stictocarbo comprises two species of Shag; Spotted Shag (Stictocarbo punctatus) and the Pitt Island Shag (Stictocarbo featherstonii),both of which are endemic to New Zealand. Unlike species of of the other two Phalacrocoracidae genera present in New Zealand, Leucocarbo and Phalacrocorax, both Stictocarbo species have yellow feet.[1]
