I cannot believe that you are the sole creator of this work and as such it is doubtful that you can make the statement "I, the creator of this image, hereby release it into the public domain. This applies worldwide". The satellite photo must have come from somewhere and Wikipedia will need to know its provenance in order to retain the image.
