To date we have over four million articles in a host of languages. The English language Wikipedia alone has over one million articles! But we still need more! Please feel free to contribute your knowledge and expertise to our site.

Please do not add nonsense to Wikipedia, as you did to Children (disambiguation). It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. Gwernol 17:55, 11 November 2006 (UTC)

Please stop. If you continue to vandalize pages, as you did to User:RaNdOm26, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. JDtalk 20:35, 11 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Images

Thanks for uploading images of various single covers. I thought you should know that when you upload a single or album cover, you should select from the drop down menu, "Album or single cover", rather than "Fair use image of a living person". Any images you mark as being of a living person are automatically deleted within a certain time. It's possible to change the {{AutoReplaceable fair use people}} template to {{album cover}}, so the images won't be deleted. Please also note that you must add a fair-use rationale to each image description page, for more information on that, please read WP:FU. — AnemoneProjectors (talk) 19:29, 4 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Orphaned fair use image (Image:40189-1-.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:40189-1-.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. – Riana āĻ‹ 06:55, 22 March 2007 (UTC)
