National Clandestine Service should be listed as (NCS) instead of (NSC).

(NSC) Seems to be a reference to the National Security Council. The whole paragraph about Libya is unsourced, not accepted fact, POV, and badly written, so I'm removing it.

Actually, it seems like the whole damned page has been defaced. Stuff like "Kappes quit in November 2004, just 45 days after Goss's tenure began, realizing that his obstructionist and insubordinate tactics with the Director and his staff were failing." and "He is regarded as a dictatorial and vengeful manager. He has little regard for those who challenge his positions on issues." are unfounded and POV. Reverting to the more detailed and NPOV version - anon

The piece as it stands now is too dumbed down. It neglects to mention that Kappes resigned his position as the DO just two years ago and that he has been working in the private sector for a security contractor in the interim. The prior posts may have been loaded with POV, but the new version is incomplete.

Please sign your posts! It's easy: just put four tildes (~) at the end. Thank you. Back to this article, I tagged it for verification and POV, and I am in the process of giving it a quick copyedit now. It's another of these articles has been written by people whom seem to have learned from the Michael Moore school of foreign policy. Alcarillo 00:15, 14 October 2006 (UTC)
