[edit] "Probably"

Removed "You Should have Lied" as the next probable single, as of course, we all know, that Wikipedia is not a crystal ball.

We all know its not a crystal ball but Steph said its the probable 3rd single on The Steph Show

Right, but she's a pawn, she/her record label hasn't confirmed it.

Actually she was sat next to the head of Universal Music Australia when she said it and he agreed.

That was a show for the cameras. They can't argue infront of cameras.

He could have had the camera turned off and said no or even had it be not included in the show.

[edit] External Links

Is it just me or are there too many external links? It just looks stupid and all but two are fan sites/forums. Harry** 20:21, 21 September 2006.

Well the three bottom links have been added recently so remove them Harry.

[edit] Steph's Mum

Steph denied claims that her mum is an executive for channel 10.

"Is it true that your mother is an executive for Channel 10? if so, how influential has your mother been in securing you a place in the extremely difficult Australian Industry, especially as it is well known to be very difficult to break through in Australia?

No not true at all!! She's a retired mummy from reading the news (on channel 2!) but couldn't have done any of this without her and my families support."

[edit] Year 9 photograph

I removed it as it has no relevance and was in the wrong place anyway.

[edit] Always use last name

Always refer to her as McIntosh throughout the article, not Stephanie or Steph. This is a basic wikipedia rule. Peter2012

[edit] Footy Show Criticism

Please provide a source for this sentence

"Her performance was received poorly by the audience and has lead to a degree of criticism of Steph and her vocal ability."

It will be removed if a source cannot be found.Symposium 13:16, 3 November 2006 (UTC)

Are the frequent edits of this page stating there was a problem not enough? To be honest the addition is just an effort to make a polite reference to the problems that seemed to happen with the performance to stave of some of the less pleasant comments about the performance. -- SeK612 08:34, 3 November 2006 (UTC)
The frequent edits prove nothing but the opinion of a few people. Find some documented proof and its stays.Symposium 13:16, 3 November 2006 (UTC)
What would you consider to be documented proof? Suffice to say the majority of comments I have seen on the performance have hinted that she didn't perform well. If it helps here's a snippet from a Herald Sun article which was relating to the possibility that Steph may leave Neighbours in the near future, possibly branching into music full time:
"Her musical hopes suffered a blow after her haphazard performance on the Grand Final edition of The Footy Show last month."
SeK612 13:53, 3 November 2006 (UTC)
I would consider documented proof the documented proof needed. Also what YOU have read doesn't count unless you can provide a link to it. To have an opinion based piece of text on a wiki page it must be backed up or its just random wild speculation.Symposium 06:42, 4 November 2006 (UTC)
Sure. Also remember that this is an article not a fan dedication. It is equally incorrect to throttle any bit of negativity or critacism. I'm sure you could have located the article yourself but a direct link is http://www.news.com.au/sundayheraldsun/story/0,21985,20623211-5006022,00.html. SeK612 14:00, 4 November 2006 (UTC)
Thanks for the link but no thanks for acting like a child. This wasn't personal it was just a request that YOU provide a link.Symposium 06:50, 5 November 2006 (UTC)
Check your own comments on this page before throwing insults around. I agree this was nothing personal and I simply edited the article as there were frequent changes being made to the Stephanie Mcintosh page regarding her performance on the AFL footy show. I guess I get the need for a references (but then a lot of data on the page would need such references if one were to cite sources - such as say the fact that she is dating Nick Riewoldt or the Aria charting).
I pointed out how you were behaving so it wasn't a direct insult. It needed a source because it was speculation and opinion based. Don't take that as a swipe at what you added its just a fact. Now we need proof of the new comment..... Symposium 06:48, 6 November 2006 (UTC)

I removed the Footy Show section as it was mostly unsourced and poorly sourced, per WP:BLP. I suggest that section be rebuilt with proper reliable sourcing. Crum375 02:30, 9 February 2007 (UTC)

Could you not tidy it up yourself? SeK612 13:55, 9 February 2007 (UTC)
I can try to do it later on. The important thing, per WP:BLP, is to immediately remove the unsourced or poorly sourced derogatory material. Then, a better version can be carefully crafted, that strictly conforms to the BLP requirements. Crum375 14:28, 9 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Steph Leaving Neighbours

I updated last night to say that Steph was leaving Neighbours to focus on her music carear, it has since been deleted. I am changing it back now, so PLEASE DONT CHANGE IT AGAIN! Below is the link from the ssun herald if you dont believe me. I will add the source now as well. http://www.news.com.au/heraldsun/story/0,,20969984-27258,00.html
