Why was the cow tipping link removed? It seems to be related. --Dschor 23:16, 16 December 2005 (UTC)
- Because steer wrestling is a serious sport with strict rules and big prize money, while cow tipping is an urban legend used to play pranks on unsuspecting urbanites. The only connection between the two is that they involve cattle. A link from this article to cheese makes as much sense as a link to cow tipping. Gary D Robson 00:19, 17 December 2005 (UTC)

- I understand that steer wrestling is a serious sport. The cow tipping article included a link to the steer wrestling article, and I thought it would not be terribly out of place to include a reciprocal link here. They do both involve the tipping of cows, so your cheese analogy seems a bit silly. --Dschor 01:21, 17 December 2005 (UTC)

- Good cheese comes from happy cows, right? Steer wrestling doesn't involve "tipping cows," which refers to an urban legend about giving a sleeping cow a push to make it fall over. If you really want the connection made, how about if we add a paragraph (or maybe just a sentence) in this article explaining that this is unrelated to cow tipping, and we make that the link? - Enjoying your good humor. Yes, I think a brief mention would be sufficient - I was happy just to place a link at the bottom, but if you feel that a sentence would be more appropriate, I am all for it. I understand that the connection is somewhat oblique, but I feel that it is still a good idea to include this in the article. --Dschor 23:22, 19 December 2005 (UTC)
