Stevie Wonderboy

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Stevie Wonderboy is a thoroughbred race horse. A foal of 2003, following his performance racing as a two-year-old he was expected to be a contender for the Triple Crown in 2006. On February 7, 2006, it was announced that Stevie Wonderboy had suffered a hairline fracture in his ankle. On February 8, a screw was inserted in to his leg to correct the fracture. The announcement was made that he would not race in the Kentucky Derby or any of the Triple Crown races.

The MLM company LifeWave LLC has claimed that Stevie Wonderboy wore its "energy patches" in training. http://www.energyrich.com/html/latest_news.html Given that the validity of claims made by company owner and self described "Dr." David Schmidt are seriously in doubt http://www.museumofhoaxes.com/hoax/forum/forum_comments/2526/ one wonders what the trainer of Stevie Wonderboy was thinking about when, or if, he chose to use such a dubious product?
