Steven "Macki" Mackintosh

Steven "Macki" Mackintosh was a fictional character on the Channel 4 British television soap opera Hollyoaks. He was played by actor Paul Holowaty in 2005.

Macki a friends with Justin Burton, the two meet when Justin started buying Marijuana of Macki after he found out his Dad had commited suicide and turned to drugs to help him with his problems. Macki incoraged Justin to distract the others in there class including Justin's step brother Ali Taylor and his friend Nicole Owen.
Soon Justin was forced to go to boot camp by his Mum after he pushed his step sister Darlene through a plate glass window where he managed to sort out his problems with his family. He then came back to Hollyoaks and wanted to concentrate on his studies with Becca Hayton (Whom Justin started to fancy). Macki then frequently distracted Jusin and wanted him to come back to his old ways. However, Justin wanted to avoid Macki and hang around with his Ali and Nicole, which led Macki angered by Justin’s rejection. Macki made Ali's life a misery by calling him "monkey boy", he also picked on Justin and framed him for a fire started in the science lab at the school. However, after finding evidence against Macki, Justin managed to get Macki expelled from school.
Both Ali and Justin thought their troubles were over, until next term as Macki returned to school and wanted revenge. The bullying got worse and he got Justin beaten up by his friends. Ali eventually had enough of the bullying and went after him with a knife that his father, Richard, had confiscated from Justin (who got the knife to defend himself against Macki). When Ali found Macki, Macki challenged him to a one-on-one fight and lead him to a quiet spot; whilst Ali's back was turned, Macki picked up a brick.
Meanwhile, Justin found the knife missing and went looking for Ali. Justin found Ali just in time to see Macki with the brick and shouted to Ali to watch out. Ali then turned around and stabbed Macki, who then died. Ali dropped the knife and Justin told him he'd sort it all out and told Ali to go home. Ali then ran out into the road and was hit by a car and taken to hospital. Justin later hid the knife in the hospital toilets and Ali was pronounced dead. A few days later, Justin went back for the knife but the police had already found it and were waiting for Justin to show up. Justin was then arrested for Macki's murder but was later found not guilty.
