Steven N. Olson is the Iowa State Representative from the 83rd District. He has served in the Iowa House of Representatives since 2003.
Olson currently serves on several committees in the Iowa House - the Agriculture committee; the Government Oversight committee; the Public Safety committee; and the Environmental Protection committee, where he is the ranking member. His political experience includes serving as assistant majority leader in the Iowa House.
Olson was re-elected in 2006 with 6,488 votes, defeating Democratic opponent Reg. Kauffman. [1]
