Fick, Steven - Chief cartographer of Canadian Geographic Magazine, the only magazine in Canada with a full-time mapmaker. Steven Fick was the magazine's first staff cartographer. He was presented with Canadian Cartographic Association's Award of Distinction for "Exceptional Professional Contributions to the Practice of Cartography" in 1998. Before coming to the magazine, he was president of Geoscapes Cartographic Art Inc. in British Columbia. Steven is also a successful painter.
