Steven Blaney

Steven Blaney (born April 8, 1965 in Sherbrooke, Quebec) is a Canadian Conservative politician from Quebec.
Born in Sherbrooke, Quebec, Blaney is currently a member of the Canadian House of Commons representing the riding of Lévis—Bellechasse. He was first elected in the 2006 federal election. He has a diploma in applied science at the Université de Sherbrooke (University of Sherbrooke) and an MBA from the University of Quebec at Montreal. He is a consultant with a background in environmental engineering and urban infrastructure. He was a consultant with the Department of Indian Affairs and Northern Development. Previously, Blaney had unsuccesfully run for the ADQ in the 1998 provincial election in Beauce-Nord.
