Steve Young (guitarist)

'Steve Young (aka: Youngblood) is a Filmmaker, Designer, Publisher, Guitarist and Songwriter. He has written and published several songs that were played on the MTV shows The Real World and Road Rules. He was the guitarist for the bands Beef Box and Urban Artillery which were Los Angeles-based bands and opening act for bands such as Tool, Rage Against the Machine, and Sponge in the late 80's and early 90's. Youngblood co-wrote, produced and recorded the song "Racist Town" with Jeff Hollie for the movie soundtrack of Floundering, a film produced and directed by Peter McCarthy (Repo Man, Tapeheads, Sid&Nancy). Steve Young's short films have appeared in several short film festivals including the Dallas Video Festival. Steve Young is currently living in the San Francisco Bay Area and playing guitar alongside Oakland rapper Q Styles Infinity.
