Steve Woolam
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Steve Woolam was the original violinist in the Electric Light Orchestra. He had been recruited by Roy Wood and Jeff Lynne to play on their first album. Not much is known about him, other than he was a classically trained violinist who played with the London Symphony Orchestra. His involvement, did not last long, however. Shortly after he played on the band's debut LP, he committed suicide by jumping off of a building in London in late 1971.[citation needed]
