Steve Schirripa

Steven R. Schirripa (c. 1958, Brooklyn, New York) is an American actor who is most famous for his role as Bobby Baccalieri on the HBO TV series, The Sopranos. In addition, Schirripa has had several minor roles in movies, including The Runner and Joe Dirt.

Although never in the mob himself, Schirripa often rubbed elbows with "connected" people, and was familiar with the mob type. Before getting into show business, he worked in Las Vegas, booking talent for a major casino.

Schirripa has also written a book, based on his life growing up in Brooklyn called A Goomba's Guide to Life.

Schirripa is a frequent guest on the Don Imus radio program.

Schirripa is also a frequent correspondent for The Tonight Show.

In February 2007, Schirripa began to make appearances for Total Nonstop Action Wrestling on Spike TV, siding with Team 3D as their (kayfabe) cousin in their ongoing battle against the Latin American Exchange.
