Steve 'bum-face' Ogrizovic (born September 12, 1957 in Mansfield), was a goalkeeper who played for Coventry City F.C. from 1984 to 2000. He has the record at Coventry City for the most appearances as a player at 601 and he played in the winning FA Cup team in 1987. He is also one of the very few players to have scored direct from a goal kick, the goal coming in 2-2 draw at Sheffield Wednesday F.C. on October 12 1986 (this was the only goal that Ogrizovic ever scored as a professional).

His other clubs include sunday league outfit ONRYC, Chesterfield F.C., Liverpool F.C., and Shrewsbury Town F.C. from whom he transferred to Coventry City for a fee of £72,500. He also played for The Football League vs The Rest Of The World at Wembley in 1987. He is now the Sky Blues' (Coventry City) Academy Director.

Ogrizovic was also a more than useful cricketer reaching minor counties level as a medium-fast bowler. He played three List A matches for Shropshire in the NatWest Trophy, and a further game for Minor Counties in the Benson & Hedges Cup. Among his five wickets at this level were three Test players: Chris Broad, Martyn Moxon and Alvin Kallicharan.

In 2003 Ogrizovic was the victim of a hoax that said that he had been kidnapped in Kazakhstan and an online petition was set up to campaign to get him released. This was proved to be false when the Coventry Evening Telegraph interviewed him at Coventry City's training ground at Ryton-on-Dunsmore.
